Dr. Sandra Jowers-Barber, assistant professor of history at the University of the District of Columbia and program host interviews Dr. Ken Bain, Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs for the University of the District of Columbia and his book, What the Best College Teachers Do. Dr. Bain is recognized around the world for his scholarship in teaching and research in the mechanics of learning. He has presented workshops and lectures at more than 200 universities internationally and consulted with scores of universities on programs to support the scholarship of teaching and learning. Dr. Bain served as the Vice Provost and professor of History for University Learning at Montclair State University in New Jersey.
